the secret elf was busy in his workshop for several weeks before Christmas and managed to produce these three lovely spindles. The wood is purpleheart and bubinga, and the spindle heads are of bone and wood. Each spins like a dream and all three are perfect for the silk I compulsively spin to ply with mohair (also compuslively spun) for a laceweight yarn for lace shawls.
