Apparently while transfering stuff between computers the photo of the Richmond jail mentioned in the blog entitled Sunday ride got lost. So here it is again for inquiring minds.
"Just how hard was the wind blowing on yesterday's ride?", you ask.
For the brief period that it was actually a tail wind, I quit pedaling at 14 mph and coasted upright for 1.5 miles before I slowed down enough to need to pedal to maintain my balance.
For the rest of the 38.5 miles it was in my face. Go figure. It explains why I need 21 gears even when biking in flat Houston.
