Speaking of Wild Flowers

I had to take my daughter up to George Bush International Airort this morning.

As I was exiting along the main road out of the airport, I passed a sloped median that had bluebells blooming. Next to them was a large blue and white road directions sign that said "Wildflowers!

I'm guessing the sign is for the benefit of those foreigners from New York City who can't be expected to recognize anything other than concrete.

I thought the exclamation point was particularly apt and exuberant.
