today's training ride around Smithers Lake

Indian Paintbrush
Blanket Flower
Blue Flax

Highlights

45 miles at a respectable speed in spite of a 25 mph headwind headed out. It kept a consistent direction which meant that the ride back was easy and relatively quick.

The humidity was low and the temperature a pleasant 70 ish in spite of the wind.

The back loop along Smithers lake was green and colorful with wildflowers.

The down side of the ride was the Texas "gentleman" who yelled at me "to the F*** over B****" as I rode down the shoulder on the right side of the solid white line marking the division between roadway and shoulder

And a "happy trails" to you too sir.
