Cross country ride March 14 Phoenix to Apache Junction

Laurie Masterson, one of the riders and a 20 year survivor of ovarian cancer, being interviewed by the National Ovarian Cancer Organization.

Today's ride was 52 miles through metro Phoenix roads and traffic. It's as big and sprawled as Houston with just as many careless drivers, badly timed traffic lights and only slightly fewer big trucks, Hum Vs but many more XXL RVs. Everything made a bit more humorous by the bill board of the Quaker Oats Guy saying "Go Humans."
5 mile detour to Desert Botanical Garden very nice made incredible by coincidental of Chihuly's Exhibit "The Nature of Glass," his first installation entiirely within a desert garden environment.
Robin, Marni, Elizabeth and Susan in front of a Chihuly structure which somewhat resembles the man himself .
