As an organizational part of my upcoming charity ride for Heifer International, I have been listed as a member of their independent fund raising group "Team Heifer." This means that I have been given a secure web page. This will make it possible to donate to my fund raising effort on line, which an alternate to mailing a check. The web page also features a little graphic to show the progress of the of my fund raising effort, which is kind of cute. To access my web page, go to http://heifer.org/ and select "Give".
In the "Give" section, select "Team Heifer" and then go to "Find an Event".
Once you are at "find An event" it will ask for the "Team Heifer Members' Name".
Enter Marni Harang and it will take you to a secure web page for donations.
You can donate funds directly into the general fund or designate an animal. I will be updating the page profile as well as my blog as I can to note progress on the ride
My only complaint is that they don't list sheep as being one of the animals you can either donate or donate a share of but you should know that I will be designating unassigned funds to provide "knitting baskets" which include sheep, llamas, goats and other fiber animals.
