updated weeks totals

A Zinnia from last years' garden

Since I log Sunday to Sunday, it actually means that I did 90 miles this week. 45 miles on Monday afternoon after my work out and 45 yesterday with my favorite SAG guy. We rode out looking for wildflowers but it has been so dry, that they seemed to have peaked. We saw some paintbrush and some bluebonnets but they were few and far between. It was however a lovely day for a ride, with temperatures in the low 80's and a nice low humidity. Inevitably there were headwinds, but they switched around mid ride so we actually had a bit of a tail wind here and there.

We took a midway break at the Enchanted Gardens Nursey/Garden Center and got all inspired and so in lieu of riding today, we spent the afternoon browsing the local nursery and getting some peppers, herbs and flowers as well as flower seeds into our small 6' square garden patch and a bunch of containers. here's hoping the birds and squirrels stay out of them long enough for them to grow! Sadie, the Welsh Corgi. seems perfectly content to drowse in the sun and let the squirrels and birds fight it out over the bird feeder 10' away. She's such a good watchdog!

I'm hoping for better weather and less time occupied with appointments and fiber guild business this week.

So not counting hours on the stairmaster, stationary bike or elipitical trainer, this weeks training totals are:

Miles 90

TITS 6 hours 15

Average 15.2
